Fathers Direct - has information about work and play - have a look at their Rant of the Month!
Working Families - a special section of this website is devoted to parents of children with special needs, and clearly explains the new rules about flexible working and parental leave - check out their 'family zone'
Dads UK - support for single dads, living with or without their children, offering telephone support, email support and an online forum, as well as a resources list
Young Dads - written by a midwife to answer common questions about pregnancy, birth and beyond, this site also contains dads' stories about their experiences
Parentline - as well as a telephone helpline for parents under stress, this site offers information for new dads, stepfathers and new partners, and also covers parenting courses and living apart from your children

Men in Childcare - This project encourages men to take up childcare training, with certificated 'taster' courses leading on to HNC Childcare and Education, which can be studied in Edinburgh
